Ukraine’s Armed Forces eliminate Russian boxer convicted of drug offences

At the front line, Ukraine’s Defence Forces have eliminated 25-year-old Elmi Ziyadzade, a decorated boxer and Master of Sport of Russia, who had previously been convicted of hashish possession.

The elimination of Elmi Ziyadzade was reported by his brother, Ulvi Ziyadzade, according to Russian media outlets.

The 25-year-old Ziyadzade held the title of Master of Sport of Russia in boxing. In 2023, he became champion of Russia’s North-Western Federal District. In 2019, he also won a bronze medal at the Russian Student Boxing Championship.

In 2022, he was convicted of possessing 20 grams of hashish and was fined 30,000 roubles (approximately $400).

At present, Russian propaganda resources have not reported the date or circumstances of the occupier’s elimination.

Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have, for the first time, destroyed a “TOS-1A Solntsepyok” system on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The “Khartiia” 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine released the results of its combat operations for January 2026, reporting the elimination of 1,008 Russian servicemen and the large-scale destruction of enemy equipment.

It has also been reported that Russia is sending wounded soldiers with amputated limbs back to the front line.
