The Russians launched thousands of drones in a single day across all fronts
Over the past 24 hours, more than 200 combat engagements took place on the front lines, with Russian forces launching thousands of drones and hundreds of aerial bombs. The heaviest fighting continues to take place in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy is mounting the most intense pressure.
Over the past 24 hours, the situation on the front line remained extremely tense—the Defense Forces repelled 215 combat engagements, while Russian troops did not reduce the intensity of their strikes on Ukrainian military positions and civilian infrastructure, using aircraft, artillery, and drones.
The greatest pressure from the enemy remains in the Pokrovsk direction, where 23 attacks were recorded. Here, the occupiers are attempting to advance in several areas simultaneously but are suffering losses in equipment and personnel. Other sections of the front also remain active:
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out shelling and airstrikes, but ground assaults were limited.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, several attacks took place near Starytsia and toward Okhrimivka and Kolodyazne; some of them were repelled.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russians made two attempts to break through the defenses toward the city of Kupiansk.
In the Lyman sector, about 20 assault attempts were recorded—fighting took place near Novoselivka, Zarichne, Drobysheve, and in the direction of Lyman and Ozerne.
In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled several attacks near Zakitne and in the direction of Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy attempted to dislodge Ukrainian units in the area of Chasovyi Yar and Nikiforivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled more than 10 assaults near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopil, and other settlements.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, 10 attacks were repelled, and one was still ongoing.
In the Huliaipole sector, the highest number of localized assaults was recorded—28 attacks in the areas of Pryluky, Zlagoda, Zaliznychne, and in the direction of several settlements.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy made one assault attempt.
In the Dnipro direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled an attack toward the Antonivsky Bridge.
The General Staff emphasizes that despite massive attacks, the Defense Forces are holding their positions, inflicting losses on the enemy, and thwarting its attempts to advance on all key sections of the front. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
