The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 810 Russian soldiers and hundreds of enemy drones in a day
Over the 24 hours from December 7 to 8, Ukraine’s Defense Forces inflicted significant losses on the enemy. Russia lost another 810 military personnel, as well as dozens of pieces of equipment and hundreds of drones.
This is evidenced by the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, within 24 hours Ukrainian defenders destroyed:
- 10 artillery systems,
- 47 units of automotive equipment and fuel trucks,
- 530 operational-tactical UAVs.
As of December 8, 2025, the approximate total losses of the Russian army are:
- personnel — about 1,181,680 (+810) troops;
- tanks — 11,403 (+2) units;
- armored fighting vehicles — 23,689 (+1) units;
- artillery systems — 34,917 (+10) units;
- MLRS — 1,562 units;
- air defense systems — 1,253 units;
- aircraft — 431 units;
- helicopters — 347 units;
- operational-tactical UAVs — 88,457 (+530) units;
- cruise missiles — 4,058 (+4) units;
- ships / boats — 28 units;
- submarines — 1 unit;
- vehicles and fuel trucks — 69,182 (+47) units;
- special equipment — 4,018 (+3) units.
Russia has begun targeting strategically important facilities that were previously considered untouchable due to their vital role in the lives of millions of Ukrainians.
