The AFU Achieve Success in Two Hot Directions – ISW
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have made progress near Oleksandrivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, where the recent raising of Ukrainian flags in the center of Dobropillia was recorded.
Analysis by the Institute for the Study of War indicates that this confirms the absence of Russian troops in the Haichur area, which is an important task for stabilizing the positions of Ukrainian forces in this zone.
Additionally, on December 4, the General Staff of Ukraine denied information about the capture of the settlements of Solodke and Zatyshshia, where active fighting continues. Russian forces attempted attacks, as a result of which Ukrainian troops were able to repel the settlements, including Ivanivka, maintaining control over strategically important territories in the region.
Despite the activity of Russian forces, who in recent days have increased pressure on several sections of the front, the situation in Huliaipole remains under the control of the AFU. Analysts expect further developments in this direction, as the stability of the secured positions will be decisive for future operations in the region.
Ukrainian forces also pushed the enemy out of the northern outskirts of Kupyansk.
