The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian flamethrower system in the south

Ukrainian defenders successfully destroyed a TOS "Solntsepok" heavy multiple-launch rocket system in the southern sector of the front.

This was reported by Vladislav Voloshin, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, who emphasized the importance of destroying such rare and dangerous enemy equipment.

The operation to neutralize the enemy equipment was made possible thanks to the professional work of Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance, which detected the occupiers’ camouflaged position in a timely manner.

After receiving precise coordinates, the target was promptly struck by Ukrainian Armed Forces firepower.

The command emphasizes that the destruction of this system significantly reduces the invaders’ firepower in this specific sector of the front.

The occupiers have lost not only expensive equipment but also the ability to deliver devastating strikes against Ukrainian troops’ positions.

“I want to share some good news. Over the past day, we destroyed the enemy’s ‘Solntsepok’ multiple rocket launcher system. It is a rather formidable and expensive Russian weapon. But our aerial reconnaissance located it, and we destroyed it,” noted Vladyslav Voloshyn.

The “Solntsepok” system is considered one of the most dangerous non-nuclear weapons systems in the Russian army’s arsenal.

It uses thermobaric munitions that create a blast effect and burn up oxygen within the blast radius.

The main danger of this weapon is that it is nearly impossible to hide from it in ordinary dugouts or shelters.

The blast wave and the zone of extreme pressure penetrate even the smallest cracks, destroying all life inside the fortifications.

Russian occupiers are storming Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in three regions at once

According to the DeepState monitoring project, Russian troops have advanced near two villages in the Sumy community close to the state border over the past 24 hours.

In Zaporizhzhia, the occupiers seized a church and banned worshippers from praying.
