Ukrainian armed forces establish additional supply routes to Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad
Ukrainian military forces are actively establishing additional logistical routes to support units in Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in Ukraine’s Donetsk region.
This was reported by the Eastern Group of Forces, citing a Facebook statement.
“The defense of Pokrovsk continues. Our troops control the northern part of the city. Search-and-assault operations and the elimination of enemy forces in urban areas are ongoing,” the Eastern Group of Forces said.
According to the statement, the situation in the Myrnohrad area remains difficult. Ukrainian units continue to carry out assigned tasks and hold their defensive positions.
The military also emphasized that additional logistical routes are being organized to Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad to ensure uninterrupted supply of all necessary resources to Ukrainian units and to enable timely evacuation.
“On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders repelled 47 enemy assault and offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, and toward Novopavlivka,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces added.
Previously, reports noted that Myrnohrad is encircled and Pokrovsk is close to being lost — according to NATO’s assessment of the situation in Donetsk region. Pokrovsk has also been described as a critically important direction for Ukraine’s defense.
