Ukrainian Forces Conduct Cleansing Operation on the Dnipropetrovsk–Zaporizhzhia Border: Fighting Continues for Berezove
Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue clearing operations at the junction of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
This was reported by the monitoring project DeepState.
According to analysts, Ukrainian troops are conducting combat operations along the section from Ternove to Solodke. Active fighting is currently ongoing for the village of Berezove.
On other sections, Defense Forces units are carrying out search-and-strike operations against enemy infantry and equipment providing reinforcements or engaged in logistics, particularly in rear areas.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces report a significant presence of Russian infantry. They note that the enemy is not only trying to hold occupied positions but also attempting to infiltrate deeper into Ukrainian territory.
Furthermore, the situation near Huliaipole remains difficult. According to DeepState, Russian forces have effectively occupied the city, concentrating substantial infantry units there and deploying additional reinforcements.
The enemy is also active further inland near the settlements of Zaliznychne, Staroukrainka, and Sviatopetrivka.
It is worth recalling that President Zelensky reported that this winter, the Armed Forces held all key defensive positions.
Additionally, near Kupiansk, Ukrainian forces neutralized a group of Russian soldiers who were attempting to mine a road.
