Ukrainian Armed Forces repel 165 enemy attacks in one day
Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine continues into its 1,427th day. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out 165 assault operations, but Ukrainian defenders are holding the line heroically.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Defence Forces are inflicting devastating strikes on the enemy, disrupting its plans for further advances.
Yesterday, Russian invaders launched two missile strikes and 91 air strikes, dropping 204 guided aerial bombs and deploying 7,518 kamikaze drones. Enemy artillery shelled Ukrainian positions 4,124 times, including 74 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
In response, Ukrainian aviation and artillery delivered powerful counterstrikes, destroying eight concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment, two artillery pieces, and two command posts.
In the north-east, in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, Russian forces dropped four guided aerial bombs and shelled 90 targets. Ukrainian troops repelled all breakthrough attempts.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, the occupiers launched 11 assaults on Starytsia, Prylipka, Vovchanski Khutory, Kruhle, Nesterne, Dehtiarnе, and Izbytske — all unsuccessful.
On the Kupiansk front, three attacks near Stepova Novoselivka and Holubivka were repelled. The Lyman direction withstood nine enemy assaults near Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka, Shandryholove, Kolodiazi, and Zarichne.
In the Sloviansk direction, there were five assaults on Dronivka and Platonivka, while the Kramatorsk direction saw two attacks near Pryvilne and Bondarne.
The fiercest fighting was reported in the Kostiantynivka direction, with 15 battles near Kleban-Byk, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, Kostiantynivka, and Novopavlivka, where Ukrainian forces completely halted the enemy.
In the key Pokrovsk direction, defenders repelled 44 attacks near Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Horikhove, and Filiia — marking record levels of intensity.
The Oleksandrivka front withstood five assaults near Verbove, Yehorivka, and Krasnohirskyi. Even in the Prydniprovske direction near the Antonivskyi Bridge, one Russian attack attempt ended in failure.
