The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 980 Russian troops and 32 artillery systems in the past day
Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces eliminated a further 980 occupiers. The total combat losses of Russian forces from 24 February 2022 to 4 March 2026 in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,269,500 personnel.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
As of 4 March 2026, Russia has lost:
- 11,723 (+5) tanks;
- 24,135 (+4) armoured combat vehicles;
- 37,874 (+32) artillery systems;
- 1,667 (+2) multiple launch rocket systems;
- 1,319 (+0) air defence systems;
- 435 (+0) aircraft;
- 348 (+0) helicopters;
- 156,431 (+1,733) operational and tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles;
- 4,384 (+0) cruise missiles;
- 30 (+0) ships / boats;
- 2 (+0) submarines;
- 81,224 (+232) units of automotive equipment and fuel tankers;
- 4,078 (+2) units of special equipment.
The General Staff notes that the data are being clarified.
