Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel dozens of assaults in the Sloviansk and Pokrovsk directions

Over the past 24 hours, 145 combat engagements took place along the front line, during which Ukrainian defenders demonstrated resilience and inflicted significant losses on the occupying forces.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian troops continue to actively deploy aircraft and drones, but Ukraine’s Defence Forces are decisively preventing attempts by the enemy to advance deeper into the country’s sovereign territory.

The situation remains particularly tense in the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, where the enemy attempted three times to break through defensive lines. The aggressor concentrated its main efforts near the settlement of Prylipka and towards Zybyne, but failed to achieve success.

Over the past day, the invaders carried out more than 3,500 shelling attacks and dropped 285 guided aerial bombs on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and on civilian cities. Enemy aviation struck areas in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, while also deploying a record number of kamikaze drones — more than 8,800 units.

Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery operated effectively, striking a number of strategic enemy targets. A command post, an ammunition depot, an area of personnel concentration, three artillery guns and a drone control centre of the occupation forces were hit.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 20 enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Yampil, Dronivka and Zakytne.

In the Pokrovsk direction, a further 22 assault actions were repelled, particularly near Pokrovsk and Rodynske, where the aggressor sought to alter the front line in its favour.

In the Lyman and Oleksandrivka directions, enemy forces launched seven attacks each, attempting to break into defensive positions near Lyman and Stepove.

The situation remains under control, and the Defence Forces continue to inflict effective fire damage on the invaders along all sections of the front.

It is recalled that over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces eliminated 960 Russian troops and destroyed five air defence systems.

It was also reported that in the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces destroyed a camouflaged MT-LB armoured vehicle and enemy drones.
