Actor Adam Brody calls Israel’s actions in Gaza genocide — Jerusalem Post

Israeli outlet The Jerusalem Post reported that Jewish actor Adam Brody, known for playing Rabbi Noah Roklov in the Netflix series “Nobody Wants This,” has publicly stated for the first time that he considers Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip to be genocide. He expressed this view in an interview with GQ.

Brody’s statement

“I think it’s a genocide. I want a free Palestine,” Brody said. According to him, he had previously discussed his views on Israel privately but had hardly spoken about them publicly.

The actor also expressed hope that another presidential administration could “correct some of these policies,” which he believes contribute to the grave situation. Brody said that the war in Gaza, the COVID-19 pandemic, Donald Trump’s second term and other global crises had revealed views among his Hollywood colleagues that he described as more conservative.

The war between Israel and Hamas has divided members of the entertainment industry.
