Two men in Britain convicted in OnlyFans content cases
In the United Kingdom, two men have been convicted in separate criminal cases related to publishing or creating explicit content on the OnlyFans platform without the full consent of women. As The Guardian reports, 37-year-old Alexander Tang pleaded guilty to an offence of voyeurism, while 43-year-old Dean Holmes was found guilty of rape.
The cases of Tang and Holmes
Tang took and uploaded 47 intimate photographs and four videos of a woman to OnlyFans without her permission, receiving money for the material. He was given a 26-week prison sentence, suspended.
The victim learned about the publications after several men contacted her, believing they had been communicating with her on social media and dating apps. She later discovered profiles using her photographs, including nude images taken without her knowledge or permission.
Tang photographed the woman's document to create an OnlyFans account. The investigation established that he was selling the material published without consent, with the money paid into his bank account. The platform later removed the content during a routine review.

Bolton Crown Court heard that Holmes isolated a woman from her family and friends and forced her to open an OnlyFans account to earn money. At the beginning of the trial, he pleaded guilty to assault and controlling and coercive behaviour, but denied the rape charge. After a four-day hearing, the court found him guilty of rape. Sentencing is scheduled for 25 September.
According to the court, Holmes created an account in the victim's name and managed it from his phone. Initially, she posted photographs in a bikini, but he demanded that she publish far more explicit material.
Warnings from charities
Charities helping survivors of domestic abuse have reported cases of women being forced to create content for OnlyFans and similar platforms. Women's Aid's annual report for 2026 states that the most common new form of technology-facilitated abuse handled by its specialists was the coercion of young women into creating OnlyFans accounts to generate income for abusive partners.
An OnlyFans representative said the platform does not allow illegal content, uses checks during registration, payment controls and continuous account moderation, and cooperates with law enforcement in investigations.
