Finnish Air Force cadets to be punished for drawing phallic shapes in the sky
A training flight by Finnish Air Force cadets resulted in a disciplinary investigation after they flew paths resembling male genitalia. Radar data showed that at least four aircraft followed specific flight paths during the training exercise.
This was reported by Yle.
The incident occurred on April 13 during training for reserve officer pilots at the Tikakoski airfield. The official objective of the exercise was to practice turns within a designated zone, but the cadets’ maneuvers took on an inappropriate form. Air Force representatives confirmed the violation and announced that sanctions against the flight participants are being prepared.
The agency emphasized that the cadets’ actions did not pose a danger to other air traffic. An internal investigation is currently underway, and details of the disciplinary measures are not being disclosed. Similar incidents in Russia or other countries usually receive a similarly harsh response from military leadership.
The crew of a U.S. military aircraft left a “message” in the sky near a Russian airbase in Syria. The Americans sent the Russians an original drawing resembling a penis.
