Poland's Foreign Minister said Russia is preparing new provocations
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated that Warsaw has reliable information about Russia’s preparations for new provocations. According to him, a public warning should deter Moscow from carrying out these plans.
At the same time, Sikorski declined to disclose details of the intelligence. He noted that Russia has long been waging a hybrid war against Poland and France, which includes cyberattacks, sabotage, arson, drone attacks, and attempts to gather data on critical infrastructure.
The minister also recalled that prior to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia, he said, was preparing provocations under a false flag, which were thwarted thanks to warnings from Western intelligence agencies.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barro confirmed that Paris is also observing an increase in Russian hybrid activity. He stressed that allies must continue to ramp up pressure on Russia and maintain their support for Ukraine.

As a reminder, the U.S. will provide Poland with a $2 billion loan to purchase weapons: F-35 fighter jets, Patriot air defense missile systems, and Abrams tanks.
Earlier, Poland signed an agreement with the U.S. for the delivery of 96 AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters, along with a logistics and training package, for a total of $10 billion.
