Saudi foreign minister says kingdom’s security is not open to compromise

In India, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said at the BRICS summit that the kingdom would not accept any threats to its security. He also warned that further escalation in the region is expanding the scope of the confrontation.

Speech in New Delhi

As Anadolu Agency reports, citing Saudi state television channel Al Ekhbariya, bin Farhan spoke at the BRICS summit in New Delhi. In his address, he thanked the organizers for inviting Saudi Arabia to participate in the event.

Warning over escalation

The head of Saudi Arabia’s foreign ministry said that the kingdom’s security is not open to compromise. According to him, continued regional escalation leads to an expansion of the confrontation. The minister made the statement on Sunday, September 13, during the summit in the Indian capital.
