India's Foreign Ministry Condemns Russian Strikes on Civilian Ships — Reuters

Four Indian citizens were killed as a result of the Russian attack on July 19 on the civilian vessel “Golden Leo,” which was leaving the port of Odesa. Another Indian national was seriously injured and is in the hospital in critical condition.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs condemned the Russian strikes on civilian vessels and expressed concern over the deaths of its citizens.

“India condemns such attacks and reiterates that attacks on commercial vessels and the endangerment of innocent civilian crew members, as well as anyother actions that impede freedom of navigation and trade are unacceptable and should be avoided,” the ministry said in a statement.

This was announced by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, citing Reuters.

Western analysts have pointed to signs that the Kremlin finds itself in a difficult position.

Putin ordered an investigation to identify the main culprits of the war among Ukraine’s allies.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, during which the parties discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, the situation on the front lines, and continued support for Ukraine.
