Iran conveys conditions for resuming talks with US — Jerusalem Post
Iran said it had conveyed conditions to mediators for resuming negotiations which, according to the Iranian side, are aimed at ending the war with the United States. This was reported by the Jerusalem Post, citing Al Jazeera, which quoted Mohsen Rezaei, described by the publication as Iran’s security chief.
According to the Jerusalem Post, Rezaei made the statement in an interview reported by Al Jazeera on Saturday. The Iranian side conveyed its conditions through mediators and is awaiting a further response from the United States.
Iran’s conditions
According to Rezaei, Tehran demands an end to the war on all fronts, the unfreezing of Iranian funds, and an end to the naval blockade. He described these steps as conditions for Iran to re-engage in negotiations.
