The Israeli military has killed one of Hamas's top financiers
On September 27, the Israel Defense Forces carried out an airstrike in the Gaza City area, killing Shadi Abu Khazira—one of the key financiers of the military wing of the terrorist organization Hamas.
According to the Israeli military, Abu Khazira headed the “Geneva” network of exchange offices, through which militants received tens of millions of shekels in foreign currency—that is, millions of dollars. These funds were used to finance terrorism, rebuild military infrastructure, and plan attacks.
At the same time, he was involved in trade in the Gaza Strip and ran the company “Gardena Professional,” which was used for money transfers. Recently, Abu Khazira has systematically violated the ceasefire and participated in planning new attacks against Israeli military personnel and civilians.

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces stated that two Hamas militants had been killed in targeted strikes in the city of Gaza in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya stated that Israeli politicians would exploit the “blood” and suffering of the Gaza Strip’s population in Israel’s election campaign. In an interview with the Qatari television channel Al-Araby, he said he does not expect any changes regardless of which party wins the October 27 election.
