Horses and cows are rummaging through trash bins for food: Residents in Russia are complaining about livestock in their yards

In Nefteyugansk, Russia, local residents have begun posting videos en masse showing horses and cows roaming freely through the city’s residential neighborhoods.

The animals have been spotted near high-rise buildings in various neighborhoods. At first, residents joked about the situation, comparing Nefteyugansk to a village, but later began to express concern.

According to eyewitnesses, unsupervised horses are rummaging through trash bins in search of food, and cows also regularly appear on city streets without owners.

Local residents complain that this situation causes inconvenience and may pose a danger to both animals and people.

The shortage of automotive fuel, previously reported in the temporarily occupied Crimea, has begun to spread to the southern regions of the Russian Federation. Residents of the Krasnodar Krai and the Rostov Oblast are reporting shortages of gasoline and diesel fuel.

In the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, restrictions on gasoline sales have been introduced due to fuel supply problems following strikes on Russian oil refineries. Russian Telegram channels reported this on May 22.
