The Kremlin has cast doubt on Pashinyan's victory in the Armenian elections

Russia has called the results of Armenia’s parliamentary elections—in which Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s party emerged victorious—“questionable.”

The statement was made by Sergei Naryshkin, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.

According to him, the political situation in Armenia remains complex, and the election results allegedly raise questions. At the same time, the Russian side has not provided any evidence to support its claims.

Following Pashinyan’s victory, Armenia continues its course toward rapprochement with the West. Yerevan has effectively suspended its participation in the CSTO and is expanding cooperation with the United States and European countries, particularly in the areas of security and defense.

Despite the victory of Pashinyan’s party, two political forces considered pro-Russian also entered the new parliament.

Armenia has asked the EU to send a rapid response team to counter Russian influence.

The Armenian opposition has proposed creating a “Ministry of Sex” to promote women’s happiness.
