LaBeouf pleaded guilty to assaulting three men: the court ordered the actor to undergo rehabilitation

American actor Shia LaBeouf pleaded guilty to assaulting three men during an incident at a bar in New Orleans.

The incident occurred in February 2026 during Mardi Gras celebrations. After reaching a plea deal with prosecutors, the court sentenced the actor to two years of probation.

In addition, LaBeouf is required to undergo treatment for alcohol addiction, anger management classes, and tolerance training. If he fails to comply with the terms of his probation, he faces six months in prison.

According to police, the incident occurred on February 17 at R Bar. Investigators claim that the actor punched two men and headbutted another. Prior to this, bar staff had asked him to leave the premises due to his aggressive behavior and conflicts with patrons.

After his arrest, LaBeouf was taken to the hospital and then briefly held in custody. He was later released on $105,000 bail.

One of the victims in the case is Nathan Thomas Reed. The other victim, Jeffrey Damnit, released a video showing the actor shouting insults at him outside the establishment.

This is not the actor’s first run-in with the law. In 2014, he was detained following an incident during a Broadway performance in New York, and in 2017, for a public disturbance in Savannah. In both cases, LaBeouf underwent rehabilitation programs.
