Macron Unveiled the Itinerary for Trump's Visit to Versailles
French President Emmanuel Macron has prepared an official program for his American counterpart, Donald Trump, at the Palace of Versailles. The event will begin with a press conference, followed by a brief tour of the palace—including the Hall of Mirrors and a themed exhibition—after which an official dinner is scheduled.
All guests are to arrive at the palace by 7:00 p.m., and the meeting between the presidential couple and Donald Trump in the courtyard of Versailles will take place at 7:15 p.m., shortly after his arrival at Orly Airport. Dinner will begin at 7:45 p.m.; however, the organizers have decided against a closing fireworks display or a sound-and-light show in the gardens, and the leaders are scheduled to depart at 10:30 p.m.
The event will result in a complete closure of traffic on the A86 highway and the N12 road, and security in the city and around the palace will be provided by hundreds of police officers, bomb squads, RAID special forces, and the Republican Guard.
This was reported by Le Figaro.
As a reminder, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his delight at receiving an official invitation to a gala dinner at the Palace of Versailles following the conclusion of the first day of the G7 summit.
