The U.S. Treasury Department has increased the tax burden on Kirkorov's Miami real estate

The U.S. Department of the Treasury conducted an audit of Russian singer Philip Kirkorov’s mansion, located in a prestigious neighborhood in Miami Beach.

As a result of tax adjustments, the amount of annual payments to the U.S. Treasury has risen to nearly $80,000.

The property on La Gorce Drive has been owned by the artist since 2011. The approximately 1,380-square-meter lot features a main house and a guest house, equipped with elevators, a swimming pool, a garage, and a spa area.

In 2025, significant changes were recorded in the property’s cadastral data, despite the absence of any actual renovation work or remodeling.

According to the documents, the first-floor area of the main house officially decreased by 12 square meters. The most noticeable reduction was in the size of the spa area—from 7.5 to 2.8 square meters.

These adjustments resulted from new measurements and recalculations conducted by tax appraisers as part of a standard Miami procedure for updating residential property specifications.

Similar changes in the documentation were also noted for neighboring properties. A reduction in the official area is usually accompanied by a decrease in the asset’s value.

While Kirkorov’s mansion was valued at $6.4 million in 2024, this figure dropped to $6.07 million after the data was updated in 2025.

The change in the calculation formula led to a decrease in the property’s appraised value by the equivalent of 27 million rubles.
