Poland's Defense Minister Warned of the Imminence of War After a Missile Strike
Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz commented on the rocket that fell in the Lublin Voivodeship and stated that the country is very close to a war zone. According to him, hostilities are ongoing near Poland, but some people have already stopped taking this threat seriously.
As Kosiniak-Kamysz noted, this incident proves once again that “the situation is serious.”
“It’s only a few meters that separate us from this war, and this night proves once again—not to those sitting at this table, not to the commanders, not to the firefighters, not to the police—but to all of us once more that the situation is very serious. That the situation poses a threat, and that the emergency services and the military are ready to make any decisions necessary to protect the Republic and its citizens,” Kosinyak-Kamysh emphasized.
He also noted that the emergency services’ response plan has proven effective.
“This is an absolute priority for us: analyzing the situation, sharing information, and making decisions. This is a plan of action that was approved and has once again proven its effectiveness tonight,” he said, adding that all services are integrated—including the armed forces, the police, the fire department, and the intelligence services.

Poland scrambled fighter jets and activated sirens in response to a massive Russian attack on Ukraine.
As a reminder, one person was killed in Kyiv as a result of the Russian strike, and fires broke out in two districts.
Russian drones also killed a person in the Poltava region and attacked a Nova Poshta facility.
In addition, a Russian missile killed a family with several children in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Russia attacked Lviv with missiles: residential buildings were on fire in the city, and there are casualties.
Earlier, Zelenskyy had warned of a possible massive Russian strike tonight.
