Moldova has banned the former minister of unrecognized Transnistria from entering the country
Moldova denied entry to Ruslan Movi, the former interior minister of the unrecognized region of Transnistria. He was denied entry while attempting to cross the border.

According to journalists, Mova traveled to Turkey using his Ukrainian passport after being stripped of his Moldovan citizenship.
When the former official attempted to return to the country, he was denied entry.
The Moldovan government has neither confirmed nor denied this information. Officials stated that state authorities act in accordance with the law in all cases related to border control.
“We cannot confirm or deny information regarding specific individuals due to personal data protection,” said government press secretary Daniela Crudu.
In a comment to Newsmaker, Mova confirmed that he was denied entry. Additionally, he stated that he had filed a lawsuit to challenge Moldovan President Maia Sandu’s decree stripping him of his citizenship. The first hearing is scheduled for September 29.
Moldovahas declared its readiness to join the coalition of the resolute.
