An earthquake struck the Philippines for the second time in three days
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 struck the western Philippines. The epicenter was located 21 km southwest of the municipality of Mamburao in West Mindoro Province, at a depth of 10 km.
The tremors were also felt in the capital, Manila, where employees were evacuated from one of the government buildings.
According to seismologists, no significant damage is expected, but aftershocks are possible.

On the morning of August 4, 2026, residents of Northern Tuscany in Italy felt an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3. The tremors were recorded around 10:15 a.m. near the city of Pisa; there is currently no information on the consequences.
