Fires reported in orchards in southern Lebanon after shelling — Anadolu Agency
In southern Lebanon, the Israeli military shelled several areas, while the use of phosphorus munitions caused fires in olive groves and citrus orchards near Majdal Zoun and Biyyout al-Sayyad. This was reported by Anadolu Agency, citing Lebanon's National News Agency.
Shelling in several areas
According to the Lebanese state agency, the strikes affected the districts of Tyre, Nabatieh, Bint Jbeil, and Marjayoun. Majdal Zoun also experienced a series of explosions during an operation by Israeli forces in the area; a powerful explosion was later reported in the locality.
Al-Mansouri, the outskirts of Biyyout al-Sayyad, and Wadi Zibqin came under artillery fire. In the Nabatieh area, artillery shelled the outskirts of Zawtar al-Sharqiya toward Mayfadoun, while an Israeli drone dropped a stun grenade on the town. Intense artillery fire was also reported in Yahmar al-Shaqif.
In the Bint Jbeil area, a wooded area in Aita al-Jabal was shelled. Another four 240-millimeter artillery shells landed on the outskirts of Haddatha in the direction of Haris.

Tank advance toward Deir Mimas
In the Marjayoun area, a group of three Merkava tanks advanced toward Deir Mimas and blocked the entrance to the locality, complicating residents' movement. According to the agency, the military searched several homes and damaged telephone poles along the road before continuing to move through the area.
Israeli forces also fired four artillery shells at Khiam and shelled Wadi al-Saluki and Wadi al-Hujayr. In the town of Debaal, a child was injured in the explosion of an unidentified object left behind after the war; the child was taken to hospital, and authorities launched an investigation.
Agreement on troop withdrawal
As Anadolu Agency notes, on June 26, Lebanon and Israel signed a framework agreement in Washington mediated by the United States, which provided for the gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops from Lebanese territory and the deployment of the Lebanese army in the vacated areas. At the same time, Israel continues its military presence in parts of southern Lebanon and carries out attacks in the region.
