A Russian jet drone flew over Chisinau Airport
Ukrainian monitoring channels reported a suspected overflight by a jet-powered drone over Chisinau’s main airport. According to preliminary reports, the drone was allegedly heading toward Romania.
Amid these reports, two aircraft were spotted circling in the skies over Moldova. Three more aircraft were on the runway.
Meanwhile, residents of the Romanian city of Iași received an emergency alert from the RO-ALERT system. People were warned about the possibility of objects falling from the air and urged to take shelter in bomb shelters or basements.
“There is a possibility of objects falling from the air. Stay calm! Take shelter in basements or civil defense shelters,” the message read.

At the same time, there is currently no official confirmation that a drone actually flew over Chisinau. In response to a request from NewsMaker, the Moldovan Ministry of Defense stated that it would provide more detailed information in the near future.
