Navrotskyi criticizes Ukraine, the UPA, and Bandera abroad
Polish President Karol Nawrocki raises the issue of Ukrainian-Polish historical disputes not only within the country but also on the international stage. This was stated by his spokesperson, Rafal Leszkiewicz.
According to him, the Polish side seeks to convey to the international community its negative stance on Ukraine’s decision to name one of its units after the UPA.
“We are constantly talking about the UPA, not only in Poland. We are taking this discussion to the international level to explain why this decision by the President of Ukraine negatively affects Polish-Ukrainian relations,” Leszkiewicz noted.
The spokesperson added that Warsaw expects Kyiv to reconsider this decision. According to him, the Polish side still hopes for a change in President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s position.
Leszkiewicz also emphasized that in the absence of a response from Ukraine, the Polish president may resort to tougher measures within the framework of diplomatic relations.
