New Zealand expands sanctions on Russia by lowering oil import cap and adding individuals and entities

New Zealand has intensified its sanctions against Russia by reducing the cap on Russian oil imports. Additionally, 23 individuals, 13 organizations, and 100 vessels have been added to the sanctions list. This measure represents a significant step in increasing international pressure on Russia in response to its actions.

These actions reflect New Zealand's commitment to strengthening restrictive measures on a global scale and its support for sanctions implemented by other nations. Lowering the oil import limit stands as an effective means of economic pressure.

Going forward, New Zealand is expected to continue coordinating sanctions with the international community and may further expand its range of restrictive measures.
