UN says water supply limited for one million people in Gaza for second day
About one million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip who depend on Israel’s water network have had limited water supplies for the second consecutive day. UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said this at a briefing.
According to him, delivering water by truck from other sources only partially makes up for the shortfall. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs expressed deep concern over the safety and well-being of Palestinian civilians in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Answering a question about Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz’s statements on the future displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, Dujarric said that the UN is concerned about developments. He stressed that the organization will continue to support a two-state solution despite the situation on the ground.

Reports from the West Bank
UN humanitarian workers are also concerned by reports that Israeli forces demolished the entire community of Khirbet at-Tabban. It is one of 13 herding communities in the Masafer Yatta area of the Hebron governorate, located on land that Israeli authorities have designated as military training zones.
Dujarric noted that about a dozen settler outposts have been established in the area over the past two years. According to Anadolu Agency, the UN also points to settler violence, which increases pressure on residents to leave the area.
