Vannacci’s party overtakes Forza Italia in Italian poll
In a new poll in Italy, the far-right National Future (FnV) party of former general Roberto Vannacci overtook Forza Italia. According to ANSA English, a Youtrend survey for Sky TG24 recorded FnV support at 7.9% among Italian voters.
FnV ranks fourth
Compared with the poll of July 24, support for FnV increased by 0.3 percentage points. Forza Italia, founded by the late former prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, lost 0.8 percentage points and has 7.1% support.
FnV thus took fourth place among Italian parties by level of support. The party’s proposed policies include remigration.

Ratings of other parties
The highest result in the survey was recorded by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy party, at 26.5%, which is 0.1 percentage points higher than in the previous measurement. The opposition centre-left Democratic Party came second with 22.2%, gaining 0.3 percentage points.
The opposition Five Star Movement came third with 12.6%; its support increased by 1.1 percentage points. FnV and Forza Italia were followed by the Green-Left Alliance with 5.8%, having lost 1 percentage point. Support for Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini’s League fell by 0.5 percentage points, to 4.4%.
The share of voters who are undecided or intend to abstain from voting is 33.6%. Meloni’s government was assessed negatively by 59% of respondents, while 36% approved of its work and another 5% did not answer.
