Ahead of the Hungarian elections, the Magyar Party is leading Orbán's Fidesz

Ahead of Hungary’s parliamentary elections, the opposition party “Tisa” is leading Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s ruling “Fidesz” party in all key voter demographics.

This is according to the results of a poll by the Publicus Institute.

According to the survey data, among voters who have already made up their minds, “Tisa” holds a 13-point lead. The party also leads among those planning to vote and in the overall rankings.

In the overall poll, Tisa received 38% compared to 29% for Fidesz. Among those who are certain to vote, the figures are 45% versus 34%, and among decided voters, 52% versus 39%.

Compared to the end of March, support for Tisa has grown across all categories, while the rating of Orbán’s party has declined slightly.

The poll was conducted from April 7 to 9 among 1,004 respondents and is representative of the country’s adult population.

As a reminder, despite Orbán’s blocking, Ukraine will receive 90 billion: IPA President Galina Heilo on the EU’s plans to finance the country.

Balázs Orbán, political director to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, assured that Ukraine does not pose a military threat to his country.
