Viewer reactions

Brazilian cartoonist Luciano Pires called the fifth season particularly difficult to watch. In his view, recreating the events of October 7 in a fiction series makes a strong impression, particularly because many viewers had already seen real videos of the attack.

Pires also mentioned Israeli actors and members of the film crew. According to The Jerusalem Post, actor Idan Amedi was seriously wounded during fighting in Gaza, while crew member Matan Meir was killed during the war.

Viewers from Italy, India, the United Kingdom, and the United States also left strong reactions to the seventh and eighth episodes. Some users called the episodes difficult and unforgettable, while others wrote that they do not dare watch the fifth season because of its emotional content.
