Three trucks collided near Kyiv: the driver was freed from the cab
On the morning of June 1, a traffic accident involving three trucks occurred in the village of Lisnyky, Fastiv District, Kyiv Region. As a result of the collision, one of the drivers was trapped in the mangled cab. Rescue workers were called in to free him and were able to extricate the victim. Sixteen State Emergency Service personnel were deployed to handle the aftermath of the accident.

Emergency responders from the 44th State Fire and Rescue Unit in the village of Chabany arrived at the scene and determined that, as a result of the powerful impact, one of the drivers was trapped in the cab of the wrecked truck.
The man was unable to free himself. Using special emergency rescue equipment, State Emergency Service personnel freed the victim and handed him over to emergency medical personnel for further hospitalization and examination.
Sixteen rescuers and three units of specialized equipment were deployed to address the aftermath of the accident. Law enforcement officials are currently investigating the circumstances and causes of the traffic accident.
Rescuers once again urge drivers to be especially careful on the roads, maintain a safe distance, and observe speed limits, as accidents involving large vehicles often have serious consequences for all road users.
