Following the drone attacks, Ozon's stock price fell by nearly 30%

After the opening of the main trading session on the Moscow Exchange, shares of the Russian marketplace Ozon fell 12.7% to 2,600 rubles. The Moscow Exchange index dropped to 2,092 points at the start of trading, which is 2% below the previous session’s closing level.

Ozon
shares are included in the blue-chip index—a measure of the largest and most liquid stocks.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a series of attacks on the warehouses of another major Russian marketplace, Wildberries. Unlike Ozon, Wildberries is not listed on the stock exchange.

As a reminder, on the night of August 24, drones attacked several large logistics facilities belonging to the Ozon marketplace in southern Russia. The strikes caused fires, and there are reports of casualties.

Drones attacked Ozon’s logistics centers in two regions of the Russian Federation simultaneously.

Drones also struck Krasnodar, causing a fire at a warehouse.
