Poles were almost evenly split in their assessment of Navrotsky's first year in office — TVN24

One year after the presidential election in Poland, nearly as many citizens view President Karol Nawrocki’s performance positively as negatively.

This is reported by TVN24, citing the results of an IBRiS poll for Wirtualna Polska.

According to the survey, 48% of Poles view Nawrocki’s performance as president positively. Of these, 23.6% gave an unequivocally positive assessment, while 24.6% rated it as “rather positive.”

At the same time, 50.1% of respondents rated the head of state’s performance negatively. Among them, 23.4% answered “unequivocally negative,” and 26.7% — “rather negative.” Another 1.7% of respondents were undecided.

Despite the formal predominance of negative assessments, the difference falls within the margin of statistical error.

The poll was conducted on May 28–29 among a thousand respondents and was released ahead of the anniversary of the second round of the presidential election in Poland, which took place on June 1, 2025. At that time, Karol Nawrocki defeated the candidate from the “Civic Coalition,” winning 50.89% of the vote.

Navrotsky thanked Trump for his intention to send troops to Poland.
