Australian police are investigating Ruby Rose's complaint against Katy Perry
Australian law enforcement officials are investigating an allegation by actress Ruby Rose of sexual assault, which she attributes to singer Katy Perry.

Earlier this week, Rose posted on social media that she had “just left the police station” after filing a report. According to her, the incident allegedly took place at a Melbourne nightclub several years ago.
On Sunday, the actress also commented on the situation in response to a post about Perry’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s performance at the Coachella festival.
“I was in my early 20s. Now I’m 40. It took me almost two decades to speak about this publicly. I’ve told this story before, but I framed it as ‘funny’ because I didn’t know how else to deal with it. Later, she agreed to help me get a U.S. visa. So I kept it a secret. But I told you she wasn’t a very nice person. Instead, everyone attacked me,” she wrote.
In response to a fan’s comment referencing Perry’s song “I Kissed a Girl,” Rose stated that the incident she described was not a kiss, but an incident of a different nature.
Initially, the actress stated that she did not plan to go to the police. However, on Tuesday she reported that she had “completed all her statements” and would no longer be able to “comment, share, or speak publicly about these matters or the individuals involved.”
Perry’s team responded to the allegations by denying them. The singer’s representatives called the claims “reckless lies.”
