Pakistan police say murder suspect returned from Azerbaijan — Dawn
Police in Gujrat, Pakistan, said they had repatriated Sher Afghan from Azerbaijan through Interpol. He is a suspect in a 2011 murder case. According to police, he is in custody in Gujrat.
What is known about the case
As Dawn reports, Sher Afghan is a resident of the village of Laal-Warri. Reports said that in 2011, he shot a man and then, according to the same reports, fled abroad.

Return procedure
A representative of Gujrat police said that DPO Faisal Shahzad instructed the head of the Saddar police station in Gujrat, Sub-Inspector Raja Shehroz, to arrange the suspect’s return from abroad. After that, according to the police representative, the relevant procedure was initiated.
Police said that after being repatriated from Azerbaijan through Interpol, Sher Afghan is in the custody of Gujrat law enforcement officers.
