President Sandu says five Russian objects entered Moldova’s skies — RMF24
Moldovan President Maia Sandu stated that on Saturday five Russian aerial attack assets entered the country’s airspace and exploded. As RMF24 reports, these objects included Banderol missiles and drones.

In a post on the X platform, the president stressed that Moscow is endangering people’s lives in Europe and must be stopped. The Russian Federation is an aggressor state.

Ukrainian agency UNIAN, citing preliminary data, reported that some of the objects entered Moldova from Ukraine’s Odesa region, which borders the country to the south.
The day before, during a visit to Finland, Sandu stated that since the beginning of the year Russian drones had violated Moldova’s airspace 45 times. According to her, eight such incidents occurred last week.
