Rapper Macklemore announces tour to raise funds in support of Palestinians — Rolling Stone

Rapper Macklemore has announced a concert tour of Europe, with proceeds he plans to donate to organizations supporting the Palestinian people and the Palestinian movement. The performances are scheduled for Dublin on October 26, Paris on October 29, and London on October 30. This was reported by Rolling Stone.

Concerts in three cities

The musician called the series of performances the Free Palestine tour. According to him, he is reaching out to artists who have publicly expressed solidarity with Palestinians to invite them to take part in the concerts. Macklemore did not name possible participants, explaining that the details are being organized on short notice.

Macklemore said that his schedule had “opened up a bit” after he was removed from Ed Sheeran’s concerts. He said this happened because of his support for the Palestinian people and called the situation broader than the story of one performer or one stage. The U.S. dates of the tour, according to the musician, will be announced later.

Removal from Sheeran’s tour
