Richard Holmes is an investigative journalist, Pulitzer Prize finalist, and security correspondent for the British publication The i Paper.

Also added to the sanctions list were Alexander Browder, an employee of the Henry Jackson Society think tank; Alice Loger, executive director of the humanitarian organization Committed to Good; and Richard Westbury, chairman of the Chelsea Group.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that this decision was a response to the alleged “anti-Russian rhetoric” of British officials, the dissemination of information about Russia, and the UK’s supply of weapons to Ukraine.
