U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the United States will continue to strike Iran until it is genuinely interested in peace agreements. According to him, the cost of the war for Iran will rise with each passing night.
According to “European Truth,” citing Reuters, Rubio said that Iran allegedly asks for a deal every day. At the same time, he claims that once Tehran agrees to a deal, it either violates it or tries to change the terms.
“Perhaps they will change their minds in a few more days, as they continue to suffer heavy losses,” Rubio said.
Tehran has stated that it will carry out retaliatory strikes as long as U.S. strikes on Iranian infrastructure and coastal facilities continue. U.S. President Donald Trump expressed skepticism about negotiations with Iran to end the war. He also stated that the U.S. would strike Iranian bridges and power plants in response to attacks on merchant ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
