A French court upheld the deportation of the former head of RT France
The Paris Administrative Court rejected an appeal by Ksenia Fedorova, the former head of RT France, against the decision to deport her from France. The court also upheld the decision to freeze her assets.
The court concluded that Fedorova had failed to prove that her deportation would have serious personal consequences for her. According to AFP, she was placed under house arrest following the ruling.
French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez stated that the deportation decision is justified because, in his words, Fedorova systematically disseminated Kremlin propaganda regarding Russia’s war against Ukraine.
