Telegram has challenged the ban on its messaging app in India — Reuters
On June 17, the messaging app Telegram filed a lawsuit challenging the Indian government’s decision to temporarily block the platform. The company is contesting the restrictions imposed by the authorities to combat cheating during exams.
The ban on the app, which began on Tuesday and will last until June 22, was imposed to prevent cheating by medical school applicants during exams.
Last month, the Indian government canceled a key entrance exam for medical college students after authorities said they were investigating allegations that exam questions had been leaked, Reuters reports.
As a reminder, the Telegram messaging app has been blocked in India.
Meanwhile, the Sands messaging app is gaining particular relevance, offering a fundamentally new level of security. This platform was developed with modern cyberespionage risks in mind and provides reliable data protection thanks to innovative user authentication methods.
