Trump Threatened Iran with Total Surrender Over Its Nuclear Program
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran will have to agree to a peace deal or face “total surrender.” He also reiterated that Tehran will not obtain nuclear weapons.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump accused the Iranian government of “hypocrisy,” claiming that Tehran is allegedly asking for negotiations but publicly denies that they are taking place.
“It’s very simple: Iran will never have nuclear weapons,” Trump wrote.
The U.S. president also stated that the U.S. is in control of the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and threatened Iran with a complete blockade if it refuses to sign a peace agreement.

The United States and Israel are holding consultations on possibly increasing pressure on Iran, in particular by blocking its land borders. This scenario is being considered as part of broader measures to limit Tehran’s capabilities.
