US President Donald Trump criticized the US Supreme Court, saying in a post on the Truth Social platform that the court's decisions undermine the country's interests. Anadolu Agency reports.
Criticism of court rulings
Trump voiced dissatisfaction after a series of legal defeats for his administration on trade, immigration and election administration issues. He said the Supreme Court lacks the courage to implement his Make America Great Again political slogan.
The president specifically mentioned court decisions that blocked his executive authority to unilaterally impose global emergency tariffs. The court also significantly limited Trump's attempts to change immigration policy, according to the agency.

Statement on citizenship
Trump called the rulings on tariffs and birthright citizenship erroneous, political and absurd. He claimed that these decisions over the past six months had cost the United States trillions of dollars and permanently changed the process of acquiring citizenship.
The president also called this period a sad stage in US history and said that the country would ultimately prevail.
