U.S. President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf on June 15 signed a U.S.-Iranian memorandum in digital format to launch the process of resolving the crisis. The document is intended to launch a political and diplomatic dialogue between the parties.

“A U.S. official said that Trump and Vance signed the memorandum electronically. Ghalibaf signed on behalf of Iran,” wrote journalist Barak Ravid.

Earlier, Vance stated in an interview with ABC that the document between the U.S. and Iran had already been signed electronically, but that the official signing ceremony would take place on Friday. However, Vance did not specify whose signatures appear on the electronic document.
