Three Ukrainians remain hospitalized in Bulgaria following a bus accident

Three Ukrainian citizens remain hospitalized in Bulgaria following a bus accident.

This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The accident occurred on the Burgas–Malko Tarnovo road near the border with Turkey. Two Ukrainians were killed in the accident, and at least 16 others were injured.

Most of the victims refused further treatment after receiving medical care.

The bus driver has been detained, and an investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.

Ukrainian consular services are in contact with the relatives of the deceased and are assisting with the repatriation of the bodies.

The carrier must arrange for the further transportation of passengers to Istanbul or Ukraine.

A serious traffic accident involving a bus carrying Ukrainian citizens occurred near the Malko Tarnovo border crossing in Bulgaria. Two people were killed in the incident, and at least 16 others were injured.

Earlier, a fatal traffic accident involving a minibus and a passenger car occurred in the Ivano-Frankivsk region—one person died, and 14 others were injured.

In the Chernihiv region, eight people were injured in a traffic accident.

Additionally, in the Rivne region, road workers were charged in connection with a traffic accident that left three people dead.
