Finland is expected to see variable weather over the weekend, with scattered rain and periods of sunshine. Precipitation will move across the country in a north-easterly direction, while temperatures will generally remain fairly steady, YLE News reports.
Rainfall will move across the country
On Friday afternoon, rain will be concentrated in the south and west of the country, moving to central and eastern areas in the evening. Dry weather will prevail in the north, although the sun may occasionally appear between the clouds. Temperatures across the country will mostly range from 10 to 15 degrees.

On Saturday, precipitation is mainly expected in eastern and northern Finland. Rain is also possible in more southern areas at night, but sunny spells are forecast during the day in some parts of the south, central regions and the far north of Lapland. The south-westerly wind will strengthen somewhat.
A low-pressure system on Sunday
On Sunday night, the next low-pressure system with rain will arrive in Finland. At first, precipitation will cover southern and central areas, but in the second half of the day it will remain mainly in the north. South of the rain zone, the sun will appear in many places, and the weather will become warmer.
